orzo pasta salad recipe


This is my basic recipe - but yours could be different. A vinaigrette is basically just 2 parts oil to one part acid (which could be lemon, lime, any other flavored vinegar, etc...)
The salt, pepper, herbs, cheese, etc. is all up to your personal preference.


  • 1 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbs kosher salt
  • 1/2 Tbs freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dijon
  • 2 Tbs parsley or mixed herbs


  • Add all ingredients to a container, and use an immersion blender to combine well. Taste for seasoning.
